Un Corazon Abierto (An Open Heart) evolved from a quick stetch called The Journey and later incorporated inspiration of the Mitla Ruins and Templo de San Matias Jalatlaco, in Oaxaca. It was my good fortune and privilege to work and study new techniques with Maestro and Master Printer, Abraham Felix Torres, at his workshop, Taller de Artes BAMBÚ, in Oaxaca, Mexico, to create a mixed media print incorporating techniques of lithography, mezzotint, chine collé and pencil.
