The experimental series is based on the 'Pencil to Pixel' essay written and developed at the: [Joan Miró Taller de Grafica Tallers]: "NEW PRINTS" 2004, Joan i Pilar Miro Fundacio, Mallorca, Spain.
Drawing: Original pencil on paper drawing (image: 42.5 x 37.25 in),
Technical: Adobe Photoshop Software, Hardware Technologies
Production: An Italian state-of-art scanner was used to scan the drawing, without loss of generation, to create a full-scale computer file. Then using Adobe Photoshop software the image file was extensively manipulated, enhanced, reworked to intensify coloration, tonalities, and forms. After several proofs, approved by the artist, a limited edition was printed using a Roland large-format inkjet printer. The experimental process was in collaboration with the production/print expertise of Miles Christensen and Chris Callahan of Print Logic Hawaii.
